Ingredients
  

  • 2 –3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken:
  1. Lightly grease your slow cooker. Place chicken breasts inside and season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
Add Liquids:
  1. Pour in chicken broth (or water) and drizzle olive oil or butter over the top.
Slow Cook:
  1. Cook on Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours.
  2. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) before serving.
Shred the Chicken:
  1. Remove chicken from the slow cooker and rest for 5 minutes. Shred using two forks or a hand mixer.
Mix with Juices:
  1. Return the shredded chicken to the cooker and stir to absorb all the flavorful juices.
Serve & Enjoy:
  1. Use your juicy slow cooker shredded chicken breast in tacos, sandwiches, salads, soups, or rice bowls!
