Ingredients
  

  • 2 –3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Optional: 1 tsp paprika or seasoning blend

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken:
  1. Trim excess fat and season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and optional paprika.
Add to Instant Pot:
  1. Pour in chicken broth and place seasoned chicken inside the pot.
Pressure Cook:
  1. Cook on High Pressure for 10–12 minutes. Use Quick Release or Natural Release depending on the size of the breasts. Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Shred the Chicken:
  1. Remove chicken and let rest 5 minutes. Shred using forks or a hand mixer.
Mix with Juices:
  1. Return shredded chicken to the pot to absorb cooking juices.
Serve:
  1. Use in tacos, sandwiches, salads, casseroles, or meal prep bowls.
