Prep ingredients
- Core and chop cabbage, slice sausage into rounds, slice onion, and mince garlic.
Brown sausage
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown sausage slices 2-3 minutes per side. Set aside.
Sauté aromatics
- In the same pan, cook onion 3-4 minutes. Add garlic, paprika, and pepper. Cook 1 minute.
Add cabbage and broth
- Add chopped cabbage and broth. Cover and cook 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.
Combine and serve
- Return sausage to pan, stir and cook uncovered 3-5 minutes. Season to taste and serve.
